Vessels HistoryThe vessels were all built in West Australia at the ASI Shipyards for Saudi Fisheries in 1982 for operations in the Persian Gulf.
In 2002 they were purchased from Saudi Fisheries and relocated to operate for PT Tri Kusuma Graha in Indonesia under A Raptis & Sons management.
A change of Indonesian Fisheries legislation resulted in many prawn licences being cancelled that were associated with joint venture companies.
These four sister ships have been tied up in Kendari Harbour in Sulawesi, Indonesia since June 2015.
Since then they have had a Marine Engineer maintaining and starting up the machinery on a regular basis.
All these vessels were operating successfully until the licences were cancelled.
These are all sistership trawlers with a large fuel capacity that would make a great fleet after the vessels have completed a full refit.
GeneralThese vessels will require a full refit and all the surveys renewed before commencing fishing operations.
Refit work and slipping can be completed where the vessels are currently moored in the Kendari dock yard at affordable local hourly labour rates.

An older photo taken in 2010 of one of these vessels on a cradle after refit to give you an idea of the profile and style of vessel.
